New years eve in Adelaide

by Pippa (with help from Rachel)

Unlike our usual cold New Year’s Eve, this one was warm and we were able to celebrate it outside on the edge of the Torrens River in Elder’s Park. Everything was outside — street performers, bands, and food trucks galore! Thousands of people were there, so the park was packed. It didn’t help that some people brought tents which took up tons of space. The bands were local and the ones we heard were great. You should check them out on YouTube: Abraska and CARZi. The fireworks were AWESOME! the food trucks were selling some great food and I was stuffed by the time it ended.
